Local studio worked on new Tom Cruise blockbuster

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) - With A Twist Studios in Rochester Hills is celebrating the released of a Hollywood blockbuster.

The special effects company was hired to handle video production work on the new Cameron Diaz - Tom Cruise film "Knight and Day." As part of their contract, the studio completed over 80 visual effects for the film.

With A Twist executives say the movie, which opened June 23, was one of the hardest projects for their staff. Some visual effects that they were responsible for were: monitor replacements, green screen effects, full set replacement, and wire removal.

Eric Bruneau, who is the effects supervisor at With a Twist Studios, says that it's been great receiving so much work from the Motion Picture Industry. Not only has his company benefited from it, but it has also opened up new jobs here in the state of Michigan and in the digital community.
