New veterans memorial dedicated in Auburn Hills

AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) - A special ceremony has been held to honor local veterans at the Liberty General Baptist Church.

The ceremony is part of the project known as The Patriots Project and it included the dedication of a veterans memorial.

The memorial features a walkway, three flag poles, benches and a black granite memorial.

On hand for the ceremony were the 1775th military police, members of The Patriot Guard motorcycle group, dignitaries from Pontiac and Auburn Hills and the Oakland County Veterans Group.
