NORTHVILLE - Neighbors in Northville are cleaning up the debris left by Wednesday's powerful storms.
The city is among the hardest hit areas in metro Detroit. Thousands of people are without power, and as the sun rose, it was clear the damage was extensive.
"We've got quite a mess to deal with," Bill Stockhausen told Action News. A large tree snapped in half, leaving half the trunk on his garage.
DTE crews were around the city, working to restore power. City workers were also helping to remove trees from streets and properties. Stockhausen is preparing to deal with the mess, but for now he is taking it in stride. "Just another day in the neighborhood," he said.
