FERNDALE, Mich. (WXYZ) - Customers of a Ferndale dry cleaner are upset after the business closed up shop with their belongings still inside.
Charles Hornbacher dropped off more than $500 worth of clothing shortly before Christmas. He went back a few days later to retrieve his items, but the doors were locked.
After repeated attempts to pick up his clothing, he called 7 Action News.
A notice on the door from the Oakland County Treasurer’s office says furniture, fixtures and equipment was seized as a result of delinquent taxes worth $701. There was no trace of customer clothing.
Several attempts to reach the owner were unsuccessful.
