SOUTHFIELD, Mich., (WXYZ) - A 12-year-old Oak Park boy has been questioned by Southfield police after getting caught inside a bank.
The Southfield Police Department responded to a burglary alarm at the Bank of America located at 25177 Greenfield Road.
When they arrived, they found a bike outside, the front door shattered and the young boy behind the counter.
The 12-year-old was collecting money, mostly rolls of coins, from the bank.
After being questioned, the boy was released to his mother.
The incident remains under investigation.
