Police believe missing Farmington Hills woman is alive

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) - Farmington Hills police say there is strong evidence that a missing 29-year-old woman is alive and unharmed.

Carmen Patricia Miranda-Portelli was last seen in the area of Orchard Lake Road and Grand River on August 1 around 6 p.m. wearing black shorts and a black shirt.

Police say they do not suspect foul play.

Investigators refused to release further details saying it may compromise their investigation.

Police are still seeking information from the public on Miranda-Portelli's whereabouts.
