HAZEL PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) - A mother is under arrest after Oakland County Sheriff's Deputies say she led them on a chase, with her 14-year-old daughter in the car.
The crash was the result of a police chase that began in Pontiac. Deputies say they were flagged down and told about a purse snatching on Martin Luther King Blvd. at about 2:50 p.m.
Deputies with the Oakland County Sheriff's Department spotted the car with two females inside and the chase began. It wound its way from eastbound M-59 to southbound I-75 where, officers say, the supects rammed a patrol car and flipped over on southbound I-75 near 8 Mile.
At least two people were taken from the scene in ambulances. Police say a deputy suffered minor injures and was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
