Police in Pontiac say 16-year-old girl assaulted her brother over a video game

PONTIAC, Mich. (WXYZ) - A 16-year-old girl is being held at Children's Village in Pontiac, accused of assaulting her brother with a knife.

Police say the brother and sister were arguing over a video game.

The incident happened late Sunday night in the 100 block of Utica in Pontiac.

When police arrived on the scene they saw two people holding the screaming teen down.

Police say her brother suffered non-life threatening injuries. He did not require medical treatment.

The incident is still under investigation and no charges have been filed.
