TAYLOR, Mich. (WXYZ) - A SWAT team and agents from Homeland Security raided Ace Wholesale Inc. in Taylor Tuesday, busting through the front window.

The raid even startled workers in nearby businesses.

One man told 7 Action News the noise shocked him so much he called 911 thinking it was a robber. It was the 911 operator who told him about the raid.

At the same time the raid was going on in Taylor, agents were also raiding the company's offices in Troy.

Ace Wholesale brands itself as a company that makes it easy to buy and sell electronics. It is run by CEO Jason Floarea.

Employees who arrived at the Taylor location during the raid say they have not been told what is going on.

7 Action News has been told the raids were conducted by Homeland Security as part of a ongoing investigation. Documents relating to the investigation have been sealed.

No one has been arrested in connection with the raids.

Floarea is being represented by high profile attorney Jim Thomas. Thomas is perhaps best known for representing former Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick.
