STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. (WXYZ) - Several students have been injured in a school bus accident in Sterling Heights.
It's happening on Metropolitan Parkway at Schoenherr. Video from Chopper 7 shows several people being loaded into ambulances.
Officials say the students are from Oakbrook Elementary School in Sterling Heights.
An official tells 7 Action News that the injuries are minor.
The bus is from the Utica Community Schools district. All of the uninjured students have been taken from the scene in another bus.
The cause of the accident isn't known, but a demolished crossover can be seen behind the bus. A baby in the crossover was also taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
