PONTIAC, Mich. (WXYZ) - The Oakland County Sheriff's Department is searching for whoever stripped several thousands of dollars in copper, fixtures and wiring from a school.
The theft happened over the weekend at the Bethune School on Lake Street. The building is currently closed for renovation.
Officials say that although the building is currently without power, a battery operated alarm system was in place.
However, there are not reports that the alarm was set off.
Police say they currently have no suspects in the case.
