FERNDALE, Mich. (WXYZ) - Local artisans displayed their handmade goods over the weekend at the grand opening of a new indie market in Ferndale.

Artisans featured handmade jewelry, crafts, vintage collectibles and more.
The market fills 15,000 square feet of space in one of Ferndale's most visible locations, the long-shuttered Old Navy building at the corner of Woodward and Nine Mile Road.
Dozens of vendors featured their goods at the grand opening.
The Rust Belt Market is open every weekend from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
The space is also available to rent for special events.
You can also pick up local bites and hear live music.
