SOUTHFIELD, Mich., (WXYZ) - Police report an arrest after a police chase that ended in a crash.

It happened around midnight Wednesday. Police responded to the TGI Friday's near I-696 and Evergreen in Southfield where they received reports of a man with a gun.

A chase ensued shortly after police arrived. It ended with the suspect's vehicle crashing into a field north of 13 Mile on Evergreen in Beverly Hills.

Police say one person has been arrested.

Southfield, Beverly Hills and Lathrup Police Departments responded to incident.
