A father from Troy was charged with open-murder in the death of his 3-month-old baby girl.
Ken Little faced a judge in a Troy courtroom
The baby was found unresponsive Monday around 2:30 a.m.
Police tell 7 Action News they found the baby lying on the rug in the basement bedroom with her father standing a few feet away.
The medical examiner ruled the cause of death as blunt force trauma.
We just spoke to Ken Little's attorney who says there's reason to believe his client didn't do it.
There was another child in the house according to the attorney, who says the child is 18-months-old and very active.
Attorney Richard Justig says there were a lot of people in the house when the baby died.
At the arraignment today, the District Court Judge in Troy decided to deny Ken Little's request for bond.
