BERKLEY, Mich. (WXYZ) - An early morning water main break in Berkley has forced the closured of 12 Mile Road in both directions - west of Woodward.
According to the City of Berkley, a 4" water main broke around 1:00 a.m. Monday.
Crews worked overnight to make repairs, but the road will remain closed until noon on Tuesday, August 20.
Public Works will be completing road repairs during this time.
Drivers are asked to avoid 12 Mile Road between Woodward and Coolidge, except for local business and residential traffic.
The intersection at 12 Mile and Woodward is closed.
