WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) - Waterford Township Police have released pictures of three men who, officers say, are suspects in a recent home invasion.
The investigation began when offficers were called to a home in the 2000 block of Lake Angelus Ln. at 4:30 pm Saturday by the home's owner. The owner told officers that between 11:00 pm and 4:30 am someone had entered the home by breaking through a back door.
The homeowners were asleep at the time of the break-in.
Officers say whoever broke in took credit cards, a dehumidifier and two TVs, before leaving in an unknown direction.
Investigators say they were able to recover property not belonging to the victim in the street near the home. They were also able to determine that the victim's credit cards were used at a Meijer in Auburn Hills shortly after 5:00 am on Saturday.
Police say they believe the suspects were driving a small black vehicle at the time of the home invasion.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact the Waterford Police Department at either (248) 618-7550 or (248) 628-6664. You can also call the anonymous Waterford Police Tip Line at (248) 674-COPS.
