WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) - A 17-year-old man has been charged with two felonies after an altercation with police that began when he was found lying completely nude in the middle of the street.

The incident happened on the 1400 block of Eason on Friday, July 20.

Officers say that when they arrived on the scene and attempted to speak with Nicholas Haviaras he became agitated and began pounding on the hood of the officer's patrol car.

Police say Haviaras then jumped on the hood of the car and shattered the windshield with his fists.

Officers say they needed a taser to get Haviaras under control. He was then arrested without further incident.

Witnesses at the scene told officers that Haviaras was on drugs. Police say he later admitted to taking blotter acid, a drug that is also known as LSD.

Haviaras has been arraigned on one count of Resisting/Obstructing police and one count of Malicious Destruction of Police Property.

He is locked up in the Oakland County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
