ANN ARBOR, Mich., (WXYZ) - Ann Arbor police need your help finding a man who exposed himself to a woman and grabbed her in a parking garage near U of M's campus.
The incident happened off campus on the 300 block of Maynard between East Liberty and William streets early Sunday morning.
"I just thought .. It's a couple of blocks .. I'll be fine," says the woman.
She asked us not to identify her, but says she wanted to share her story so other women would be reminded not to walk alone.
She says she was walking to her car when the man started some small talk. She didn't think anything of it and figured he was also walking to his car in the same parking garage. When she got to her car on the fourth floor of the parking garage, she says he forced a kiss on her and then touched her inappropriately. Then she says he exposed himself.
The victim said she punched him, but that wasn't enough.
She says she was able to slam her car door against him and that's when he ran away.
She says she will not walk alone again and hopes her story reminds other women to do the same.
