ANN ARBOR, Mich. (WXYZ) - Crooks are stealing more bikes on the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor.
Police say 28 were ripped off during the winter semester.
That's 9 more than the year before.
The number of thefts at Eastern Michigan also went up.
Police say most of the bikes stolen are either left unsecured or have a cable lock that's easy to cut. They suggest using a stronger lock.
