YPSILANTI, Mich. (WXYZ) - Dozens of families may not receive their meals because someone stole a delivery van from Meals On Wheels in Ypsilanti.

The 2003 Windstar van with "Meals On Wheels" decals was stolen over the weekend.

Meals On Wheels is a non-profit organization and can not afford to replace the van.

The organization serves homes within 140 square miles.

The van that was stolen serves meals to about 55 people Monday through Saturday.

The people who receive those meals are homebound individuals who are medically fragile. Most live alone.

If you've seen the van, please call Ypsilanti police.
