DEARBORN, Mich. (WXYZ) - The search is on for a 1930 Classic Model A convertible that was stolen from the parking lot of the Henry Ford Museum on June 26.
The classic car was inside a trailer hitched to a 2001 Ford F-250, which was also stolen.
The owner of the vehicles was in town from California and was visiting the museum at the time of the theft.
The Ford F -250 pickup has a California Plate of 6P95642. It has a white top with gold on the bottom of the truck, a Nascar license plate and a NASCAR sticker in the rear window.
The trailer containing the classic car is also missing. It is a white 2007 Iner Carrier Runner Trailer. The trailer has a California plate of 4JT5217 and has a small Ford racing sticker on the rear bumper.
The 1930 Ford Model A is yellow with black/chrome fenders and a brown convertible top. It has a California plate of 670RHG with the VIN: A2970284.

A $1,000 reward is being offered by HEAT for information that leads to an arrest and prosecution. The owner of the stolen vehicles is also offering a $1,000 reward for the return of the Model A.
