Pileup shuts down stretch of northbound Southfield Freeway for several hours

DEARBORN, Mich. (WXYZ) - More than 20 vehicles were involved in a pileup that closed the northbound Southfield Freeway at Oakwood.
The road has since reopened.
The crash left cars strewn across the freeway and under the overpass.
Police and emergency crews rushed to the scene. There is no word about any injuries.
Snow squalls in metro Detroit have caused a number of accidents on local freeways.
