Coney Island hot dogs will be focus of Detroit bus tour

(WXYZ) - The online community news service Patch.com is organizing a special bus tour of metro Detroit that will focus on our area's love of the coney hot dog.

According to the Dearborn Patch , the tour is in connection with the authors of the new book Coney Detroit and will feature some of their favorite coney dogs.

Participants will also hear the stories behind some of our area's unique restaurants, the Coney Islands.

The bus tour will be held on May 12, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the D:hive Welcome Center on Woodward in Detroit. It will then run through locations in Dearborn, Royal Oak and Eastpointe before ending at 2:00 p.m.

Tickets are $35 each and available through D:hive Detroit. However, space is limited.
