Couple celebrates 7 decades of wedded bliss

ROMULUS, Mich. (WXYZ) - Still going strong after more than 7 decades of marriage, Manuel and Dorothy Thomas share the secrets of success.
"Be the boss," that's Manuel's advice. Dorothy says you should be prayerful.
The Romulus couple celebrated their 73-year wedding anniversary with family and friends on January 22.
They both recently turned 91 and still know the moment, all those years ago, that brought them together.
"She loved the way I danced," Manuel says.
"He was a very good dancer," Dorothy adds. "I was almost too afraid to dance with him.
They have four children, six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
