A victim of the serial rapist is also speaking out as hundreds join the hunt to get the dangerous attacker off the streets.
Members of the "Detroit 300" went block by block and door to door Thursday night on a mission to track down the rapist who is terrorizing women on the city's northeast side.
The men fanned out across the area near 7 Mile and Gratiot. They walked up to every door and they shouted to those who did not open up. They put posters on poles and they promised to help police find this rapist and put him behind bars.
One of the victims came out to make sure her attacker is found. "What he did to me he did three, four, five other females after me." The 19-year old is one of at least seven victims recovering from the terrifying attack. "He made me stand in the backyard naked. He told me he was going to kill me."
Another woman was attacked on Detroit's east side tonight but she says there were two attackers. Police are investigating but do not believe it is connected to the serial rapist.
In most cases, the women were walking alone. In one case, a woman was driving when the suspect bumped her car. She got out to check the damage and was attacked by the armed man.
Police are warning women not to walk alone and if their car gets hit, they're asking them to drive to the nearest police station.
If you recognize the suspect in the sketch, call Detroit Police at 313-596-1950.
