Detroit Tigers to host 2nd Annual Classic Car Show

DETROIT (WXYZ) - The Detroit Tigers host the 2nd annual classic car show by Comerica Park on Witherell Street sponsored by MotorCity Casino Hotel and Total Lubricants on Saturday, July 7.
The Car Show will be held from noon until 4:00 p.m. and is open to any fans of baseball or classic cars. The Tigers vs. Royals game follows with the first pitch at 7:05 p.m.
The 100 best cars have been selected by celebrity judges based on the following requirements and categories.
Cars in the show must be:
- Manufactured in 1989 or before
- Of show quality
- Street legal
- Currently covered by insurance
Categories include:
- Best pre-1969
- Best 1961-1970
- Best 1971-1989
- Best Custom Paint Job
- Best Sports Car
- Best Overall
GM Heritage Center, MotorCity Casino Hotel, and the Concours d'Elegance of America at St. John's will provide special show cars for fans to view at the show as well.
A ticket package is offered for $40 that includes an Upper Box Infield ticket to the game, a Detroit Tigers Classic Car Show T-shirt and Poster voucher, and a $5 food voucher to be used in Comerica Park.
