Disney star hosts Back to School concert in Westland

WESTLAND, Mich. (WXYZ) - Coco Jones, a young Disney Channel star and recording artist will be at the Westland Shopping Center Saturday, August 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Radio Disney AM 910 Detroit is hosting this back-to-school celebration featuring the Radio Disney Road Crew and  Wayne Westland Community School groups.

There will be prizes for attendees.

Coco Jones has starred in "Let it Shine" and "So Random!" on Disney Channel and will perform at the end of the celebration.  She will also accept questions on stage following her performance.

Kids ages 16 and under can head to the Westland Shopping Center up until August 10 to enter for a chance to win an exclusive meet and greet with Jones at the event.  Winners will find out by August 13.

The concert is free for anyone who wishes to attend.
