Ficano has also named a new assistant county executive.
Ficano says Tish King will take over as director of personnel and human resources. King has served as Vice President of Human Resources at Greektown Casino-hotel where she conducted negotiations on a collective bargaining agreement.
Kenneth Wilson will be serving as the county's new deputy director of personnel/director of labor relations. Wilson is an attorney who has represented many local cities, including the city of Detroit.

“We are excited to have these individuals join our new team,” said Ficano in a news release. “The focus remains unchanged from what began last fall: assembling a team of exceptionally talented professionals and getting back to the basics, a common-sense approach to county government.”
