(WXYZ) - If you’re looking to introduce a new pet into your home, you may want to start at the Michigan Humane Society.
Friday and Saturday only, you get adopt cats and kittens for free at three of MHS’ adoption centers.
The adoption fee will be waived at the Detroit, Rochester Hills and Westland centers. Adoption hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today and tomorrow.
The Michigan Humane Society also provides no-cost microchipping, spay or neuter surgery, and all the age-appropriate vaccinations.
You’ll have to meet with an MHS adoption counselor to make sure the pet is a good fit for your family, home and lifestyle.
For more information, and to see a list of adoptable pets, check out the Michigan Humane Society website.
