DETROIT(WXYZ) - West Bloomfield's "Friendship Circle" has assisted thousands of families since its creation in 1994. Eli Zaret aims to show the organization's good deeds in his new documentary.
The Friendship Circle offers therapy for children of all ages and a wide variety of medical issues ranging from Autism to Multiple Sclerosis by teaching them essential life skills in “Lifetown,” a remarkable indoor city within a city.
In the documentary, "The Circle Never Ends", longtime broadcaster Eli Zaret gives viewers an inside look at the "Friendship Circle". The documentary features interviews of Bassie and Rabbi Levi Shemtov, the founders of the organization.
Viewers will also get to know the children and families of The Friendship Circle, and the special teen volunteers who make it all possible.
"The Circle Never Ends" airs Sunday, September 23 at 5:30 p.m., right here on channel 7. If you don't catch it, the documentary will re-air on Sunday, September 30 at 3:30pm.
