GROSSE POINTE PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) - As the investigation into Jane Bashara's murder continues, the major players in the case all seem to be lying low.

Jane’s husband Bob has not been seen leaving the couple’s Grosse Pointe Park home recently.

Main suspect Joe Gentz, who sources say has admitted to playing a role in the murder, also hasn’t been seen by reporters recently. However, he is due back in court soon.

Gentz is scheduled for a court hearing in which he is attempting to regain the right to see his 10-year-old daughter. This comes after the Macomb County Prosecutors office moved to block his supervised visits after a lawyer in the officer heard Gentz claim that he killed Bashara.

That court hearing will be held later this week. Gentz’s daughter is currently in foster care and sources say her mother has not been in the picture for quite some time.

Prosecutors have alleged that Gentz is a neglectful father and have been trying to terminate his parental rights since before the murder of Jane Bashara.

The three weeks since Jane Bashara’s murder have included many twists and turns, including Gentz walking into the police station and claiming that Bob Bashara hired him to kill his wife.

Gentz was let go three days later, and police have not said why he was released from custody.

Other twists that came in the case were the revelations from sources that Bob Bashara failed a police polygraph and that he was not faithful to his wife.
