INKSTER, Mich. (WXYZ) - Chrystal Paszkowski and Christopher Hollifield are offering a $500 reward for information leading to the people who broke into their home twice in the past month.
The thieves took a wedding dress Chrystal just bought and brought home, a wedding ring, a flat screen TV. other technology, and some money they had saved.
Through tears Chrystal says she is upset because it was hard to save for the things she and their children needed including a laptop computer to home school the children. She is also upset because she thinks she knows who did this.
She and Christopher believe it is a couple who they trusted and allowed to live in their home for a while and they think that because after one of the break-ins they found some identification that belonged to the man.
Police say that is not enough proof because he could have left that at the house when he stayed there and they can't prove otherwise. Same goes for finger prints.
What police in Inkster and Chrystal and Christopher are hoping is that someone sees the wedding dress or ring, maybe at a pawn shop and calls police.
Both Chrystal and Christopher want justice. Chrystal says the people who did this deserve what police and God think they deserve.
