Man shot at St. Clair Shores apartment after threatening police

ST. CLAIR SHORES, Mich., (WXYZ) - St. Clair Shores Police say a man was shot after threatening authorities with a firearm.

Police were called to the Falcon Crest apartments on Little Mack around 7 p.m. Tuesday night after reports of an armed suicidal male.

When they arrived on the scene the suspect came out on the second floor balcony with a firearm. After several commands to drop the weapon the suspect did not comply.

That is when police fired once shot to disable him. Paramedics transported the suspect to St. John's Hospital where he remains in serious condition.
