Melvindale High School lockdown ends

MELVINDALE, Mich. (WXYZ) - The lockdown at Melvindale High School has ended.
The school was placed on lockdown as a precaution because of a police situation in the area.
There are reports that there was a break-in at a local home and police were searching for a suspect.
The lockdown was ended after police went inside and found no one inside.
The school is located near Allen Road and Oakwood Boulevard.
