WAYNE, Mich. (WXYZ) - Some of the employees at the Michigan Assembly Plant at Wayne booed Governor Rick Snyder during an announcement Thursday .
Hourly workers were also wearing red Solidarity in Wisconsin t-shirts.
One employee told Action News, "I am upset with him going after the unions and our pensions" referring to the governor's plan to tax pensions in order to cut Michigan's budget deficit.
The Governor was attending a program honoring the launch of the 2012 Ford Focus. The Focus is Ford's first global vehicle.
4,000 people work at Michigan Assembly building the vehicle on two shifts.
