HIGHLAND PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) - Several fires intentionally set in the last week in Highland Park could be the result of a new gang initiation.

At 9:30 p.m. Sunday witnesses say they saw two teens running from a burning home near 2nd & Louise.  They're described as 13 to 15-years-old and wearing red and black.

Investigators say Homeland Security told police the fires could be the result of a new gang initiation in the area.

If you know who is responsible for setting these fires you are asked to call police.
