Three people dead in luxury condo complex in Detroit; suspect shot two people, turned gun on self

DETROIT (WXYZ) - Detroit Police barricaded off the Joliet townhomes Sunday as they surrounded a man accused of shooting and killing his neighbor and another man.

When the SWAT team entered the condo near the intersection of Rivard and East Lafayette the gunman was dead. Another man's body was also discovered inside.

Investigators believe the suspect shot the other man inside the condo before turning the gun on himself.

The situation began to unfold Sunday morning when shots were fired at the condo complex. According to neighbors the suspect, a man in his 20's, got angry because a neighbor was playing loud music.

The suspect confronted the neighbor with a gun and opened fire. It's said that the young man ran back inside his condo, shot his father and then killed himself. Police are not confirming the identities of the victim's or the suspects.
