DETROIT (WXYZ) - The financial company is donating 2.1 million dollars to the Detroit Public School District.

The 'Grow Up Great' initiative will start out as a pilot program this summer and grow through the coming year.

Mayor Dave Bing and DPS financial manager Robert Bobb praised PNC for believing in the city and helping the school children have brighter futures.
