GROSSE POINTE PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) - Grosse Pointe Park Police have issued a news release through the Wayne County Prosecutor's office about the Jane Bashara murder case.

It reads as follows:

Regarding the Jane Bashara case.

Our job as investigators is to prove facts beyond a reasonable doubt.

In doing so we must conduct a thorough and complete investigation.

As a result we are not going to answer any specific questions regarding the ongoing investigation.

In passing along the release, the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office also said that they have no new information to announce regarding the Bashara case.
