DEARBORN, Mich. (WXYZ) - Quran-burning pastor Terry Jones plans to hold a rally in Dearborn today.

His organization "Stand Up America Now" will host the event at 1 p.m. outside Edsel Ford High School in Dearborn to protest what it calls "the bullying of non-Muslims."

The rally is in response to recent violent protests in the Middle East against an offensive film depicting the Prophet Mohammed.

Dearborn Police say they are fully prepared for the event.

When Jones held a rally outside Dearborn city hall last year, things got heated between his supporters and counter-protesters.
