Rain couldn't keep dozens of hungry mouths from enjoying A Taste of Dearborn East

A Taste of Dearborn East is a mouthwatering way to enjoy the delectable restaurants East Dearborn has to offer.

Several restaurants are participating this year in the Taste of Dearborn East event along Warren Avenue and in the Fairlane Town Center

At one point the line was outside the door to purchase a green wristband that would give people a taste of the city.

“It’s a chance for people to come out and taste what we have to offer” says Melissa Kania of the EDDDA.

Pouring rain did not stop the taste buds of dozens a people who gladly paid $20 that gave them access to 13 restaurants on Michigan Avenue, including 360 Lounge, Bamboozle’s Pub & Grille, Shelby’s on Warren and many more.

“We’ve only been open 8 days and we want everyone to know all the good stuff we have,” says the owner of Palace Café.

What better way to please your palette with the many cultural flavors East Dearborn has to offer, all in one evening!
