GROSSE POINTE PARK, Mich. (WXYZ) - Bob Bashara made a brief statement outside of his Grosse Pointe Park home regarding the murder of his wife Jane Bashara .
He was accompanied by his mother Nancy and son Robert.
"We wish to thank the hundreds of people who have shown their love and respect for my Jane," said Bashara."We have cooperated with law enforcement agencies and continue to do so."
His son Robert also spoke briefly. "My sister and I totally support our dad throughout all of this... we just miss our mom so much... and we're just trying to get through this," he said.
Bob Bashara would not answer any questions from reporters.
Police have called Bashara a person of interest in his wife's murder case.
7 Action News Sources are telling us that Joe Gentz, a man who has admitted to having a role in the murder of Jane Bashara, has told police that Bob Bashara also played a role in his wife's death.
Jane Bashara's body was found in the back of her car in Detroit last week.
