CANTON, Mich. (WXYZ) - Detroit Dog Rescue was on a mission this weekend to build you and your pup a dog house.
They teamed up with Home Depot to build 100 dog houses for the "Roofs for Woofs" blitz build.
The program, called "In the Dog House," encourages pet owners to provide proper shelter for their animals.
The dog houses built yesterday will be given away to preselected owners in need.
The remaining puppy homes will be donated during the fall and winter months.
