REDFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WXYZ) - Detroit police have arrested one man in connection with a triple homicide in Redford Township. He's expected to arraigned Monday.

The bodies of the victims were discovered in a home in the 10000 block of Dixie street Friday night.

Neighbors tell 7 Action News that the people who live at the home kept to themselves, except at night when everyone knows their social activities.

“This is definitely a tragic, tragic thing here to see.  But it doesn’t surprise me at all to see this,” said a man who lives nearby that did not want to be identified.

“There have been past histories of late night partying and people going in and out of the house that were minors,” said Ken Edgerton.  Edgerton lives nearby and heard several of the shots fired in the home.  That’s when he knew it wasn’t just another party.

“I heard yelling coming from the house and then the muffled sound of gun fire that happened,” said Edgerton.

Police found two men and one woman inside with fatal gunshot wounds.

“I hear about it you know, from the surrounding areas because we are by Detroit and Dearborn, but you never think it will happen in your area,” said Edgerton.

A bus aid for the South Redford School District said that she used to stop at the home on her school routes and pick up a teenage girl.

“She went to a school that is for troubled students to help them with that,” said Jeanette Zezaw.

According to police the victims were murdered by someone they knew.  Police are withholding the names of the people killed pending family notification.
