WYANDOTTE, Mich. - The United States Coast Guard has suspended searching the Trenton Channel for a possible missing swimmer Saturday afternoon.
Lt. Justin Westmiller of the U.S.C.G. Sector Detroit tells 7 Action News that clothes and eye glasses were found near the shore at Bishop Park in Wyandotte, although there is no sign of a swimmer.
Lt. Westmiller also said that there are no reports of any missing persons at this time.
Currently the U.S.C.G. Sector Detroit has 3 boats and a helicopter searching the for the possible missing swimmer.
