Wayne County Sheriff's Department recaptures prisoner who escaped almost a week ago

DETROIT (WXYZ) - The Wayne County Sheriff's Department has recaptured a prisoner who escaped from custody almost a week ago.
Officials have not released an details on how or where Kcajun Juromill Burton was taken into custody. A 5:00 p.m. news conference has been called to update the case.
Burton was being transported by the Wayne County Sheriff's Department when he broke free in the area of I-94 and Lawton on February 16.
He is the same young man accused of breaking into Detroit Chapter NAACP President Reverend Wendell Anthony's mothers home. An Action News Investigation revealed Burton may be part of a street gang responsible for a series of break-ins in Detroit's Historic Aviation neighborhood.
