(WXYZ) - ABC is reporting that an arrest warrant has been issued for New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.
Hernandez is at the center of a murder investigation.
Police are investigating the death of semi-pro football player Odin Lloyd. The 27-year-old was found shot to death on Monday in an industrial park about a mile away from Hernandez's home.
ABC News sources say investigators have evidence that Hernandez's home security system, which included video surveillance, was deliberately destroyed.
His cell phone had also been smashed before pieces of it were handed over to police, sources told ABC News.
Sources have also said that police want to know why Hernandez hired a cleaning crew to scrub his house on Monday.
ABC News reports that Hernandez was seen with the victim a few days before he was found dead.
Lloyd is reportedly dating the sister of Hernandez's girlfriend.
