(WXYZ) - What could be bigger than a royal wedding? How about a royal baby? Royal baby buzz is swirling around Prince William and Kate Middleton.
Citing a palace insider, "In Touch Weekly" announced the Duchess of Cambridge is six weeks pregnant, just seven months after hundreds of millions around the world witnessed their fairy tale wedding.
Royal baby rumors have been building for weeks. Kate refused to taste some peanut paste while visiting the African Aid Organization. Speculation grew even more when the duchess declined champagne and decided to drink strictly water for an entire evening.
The palace source tells "In Touch Weekly" the royal couple is hoping for a daughter. Britain's rules to the throne have recently been updated. If William and Kate were to have a girl, a first-born female of William's could inherit the throne.
Buckingham Palace is not commenting on any of the media reports. Now, the world will just have to wait and watch for a baby bump.
