(WXYZ) - Save Michigan's Public Schools, a non-partisan grassroots network committed to supporting public education in Michigan, is planning a rally on the Capitol steps on Wednesday, June 19th.
The goal of the rally is to mobilize concerned citizens in response to threats to public education.
The rally will begin at 11:30 a.m. on the east Capitol steps, 100 N. Capitol Avenue, Lansing, MI. Featured speakers will include State Senators Gretchen Whitmer (East Lansing) and Sen. Bert Johnson (Highland Park), Representative Brandon Dillon (Grand Rapids), and State Board of Education president John Austin.
