(WXYZ) - Fifth Third Bank is alerting its customers about an attack on it website.
Many of its customers experienced significant delays Tuesday when using the bank's online banking website.
It was due to what is called a "denial of service" attack - where hackers flood a site with traffic making it hard for customers to access.
Fifth Third says no bank accounts were breached and customers' money was not taken.
Security measures are in place to guard against any fraudulent activities.
